AHS CyberPatriot Teams compete in Regionals

Two Arkadelphia High School and Junior ROTC CyberPatriot teams are competing in the Regional CyberPatriot Competition today.

Students are given images of operating systems and must find the cybersecurity vulnerabilities. The competition lasts for six hours.

Three AHS CyberPatriot teams competed in the State contest on January 13. “Badgers JROTC” received the 1st Place Gold Tier Award. “Lady Badgers JROTC” received the 2nd Place Gold Tier Award. “AHS Badgers” received the 3rd Place AFA State Award.

According to their website, CyberPatriot was "conceived by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire students toward careers in c ybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future.”
