The Arkadelphia Lady Badgers are in the 4A South Regional Tournament that begins Wednesday in Nashville and the first-round opponent standing between Arkadelphia and a 4A State Tournament berth is No. 2 Star City.
The Lady Dogs, under the direction of head coach Becky Brown, are 26-2 on the season and ranked No. 2 in Class 4A in the most recent Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Super Six Poll. The Lady Dogs are the 1-seed from the 4A-8 after winning last week's 4A-8 District Tournament. Head coach Lynn Rook's Lady Badgers are the 4-seed from the 4A-7 after last week's 4A-7 District Tournament.
