Hopefully parents and students were able to take a few deep breaths during Spring Break last week and get ready for the stretch run of the 2016-17 school year. The final two months of school will be full of events, tests, games and practices and it all gets started tomorrow.

FOR OUR SPRING SPORTS, it may seem as if the season is just really getting started and in some ways that's the case because this week marks the beginning of conference play for soccer, softball and baseball. Soccer opens conference play Friday night at Malvern and the baseball and softball teams will open 4A-7 play that same night in Nashville. As the conference races shape up over the next few weeks, we'll keep you updated on conference, regional and state tournament scenarios for all of our teams.

THIS WEEK WILL FEATURE OUR third spirit group tryout week as the 2016-17 AHS Dazzler dance team will be selected Friday after a week of tryout practices. Our Goza cheerleaders and AHS cheerleaders were selected before Spring Break and we'll be announcing those teams soon. Our Goza Jazzler dance team will wrap up the tryout season in late April - early May.

A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT for fans who go watch our baseball and softball teams at the Youth Sports Complex: please watch your speed when you enter the complex as this time of year has hundreds of youth and families using the complex for baseball, softball and soccer practices as well as disc golf and fishing. Thanks for driving responsibly the evenings when you attend events at the Youth Sports Complex.

Below is the week ahead for our Badgers and Lady Badgers. Go Big Blue!!
