We were a little delayed in the posting of this week's schedule until today's weather finalized our plans. Weather has forced postponements of all of Monday's games and all will be rescheduled since they are conference games/matches for baseball, softball and soccer.

THE LADY BADGER SOFTBALL TEAM is 2-1 in 4A-7 play with a big two weeks ahead. The 4A-7 softball conference is traditionally the toughest in the state in class 4A as three of last year's four semifinalists were from our conference. Bauxite, Mena and Nashville were all in the semis last season. Four teams advance to the 4A South Regional each year, so the Lady Badgers will face stiff competition in trying to claim one of those spots.

THE BADGER BASEBALL TEAM is also 2-1 in conference play after a road win at Fountain Lake Friday. The Badgers will face Ashdown on Friday at home in a big conference match-up with the undefeated Panthers. The game will coincide with the dedication of the Youth Sports Complex addition of fields 5, 6 and 7 so be on the lookout for details on Friday's events.

SOCCER has seven conference matches left including tonight's postponed games vs. CAC. The top four teams advance to the 4A State tournament in Harrison. The Lady Badgers are 1-1 after a win over Haskell Harmony Grove last week. The Badgers are 2-1 with wins over HHG and Maumelle Charter.
