Thirteen students from Arkadelphia High School attended the 2018 DECA State Career Development Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 28th & March 1st. AHS marketing students who attended: Javonte Brown, Carl Brim, James Fitzgerald, Fateemah Fiaq, Haley Francis, Kristopher Hall, William Jones, Nancy Kwetchou, Leslie Loe, Reece Nowlin, Sarah Pollock, Harrison Shuffield and Elizabeth Watson.
Seven students will be attending the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, GA this April. Congratulations to all of our AHS marketing winners! As these students must raise over $1,000 each, they are offering reserved tickets to an AHS DECA crawfish boil dinner, which is sponsored in part by Jon Fitzgerald of OBU Sodexo. The dinner will include 3 lbs. of crawfish, potatoes, corn and onion. The boil will be held on the campus of AHS on March 16th.
