State tournaments for spring sports begin this week and Arkadelphia will be represented by baseball, girls' soccer and boys' soccer in the 4A State tournaments and all will be in action on Thursday. Below is information regarding the tournaments for the respective sports.
GIRLS' and BOYS' SOCCER
Both Arkadelphia teams will be the 3rd seeds from the 4A-2 conference and will begin state tourney play Thursday. The tournament was originally scheduled to be played at Burns Park, but due to recent flooding, the tournament has been moved to a combination of locations including Maumelle city Parks where both Arkadelphia teams will play Thursday.
The Lady Badgers will face Gentry at 12:00 pm Thursday on Field B of the Maumelle Parks complex. The Badgers will follow at 4:00 on the same field in their first round match against Danville.
The state tournament is a single elimination tournament with the first round on Thursday. The tournament quarterfinals are Friday, semifinals are Saturday and State Championship Matches are Friday, May 22 on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville.

The Badger baseball team will enter the 4A State tournament in Blytheville as the 3rd seed from the 4A South. The Badgers will play Thursday at noon against Prairie Grove, the 3rd seed from the 4A North Region.
The Badgers would play Friday at noon with a win in the first round and then again Saturday at noon in the semifinals. The state tournament is a single elimination tournament.
