7TH GRADE FOOTBALL BEGINS TONIGHT after having last week's scheduled season opener cancelled. The 7th grade Badgers host Malvern tonight at 5:30 on AllCare Field at Badger Stadium. There have been some changes to the 7th grade schedule that we will detail in an upcoming post. If you know of 7th grade football parents, give them a heads up to check out the site when the story is posted. One change that involves this week is that the 7th grade Badgers will play THS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th, in the Hot Springs Jamboree as opposed to the originally-scheduled date of next Saturday, October 1.

THE AHS GOLF TEAMS WILL HOST the 4A-7 District Golf Tournament at DeGray State Park Golf Course Tuesday and Wednesday. The girls will start things off on Tuesday and the boys will have their turn Wednesday. Individuals and teams will be attempting to qualify for the 4A State Golf tournaments which will be held in the coming weeks.

THURSDAY IS A BUSY DAY FOR AHS VOLLEYBALL as the Lady Badgers will host Jessieville and all of the teams will be in action. Beginning at 3:45 the schools will split the 7th grade teams and play a 7th grade match in the AHS main gym and a separate one in the AHS auxiliary gym. After the 7th grade matches, the JV and varsity teams will play in the main gym while the junior high teams will play in the auxiliary gym. Seating will be available in the auxiliary gym for the matches.

THE BADGER FOOTBALL TEAMS OPEN CONFERENCE PLAY THIS WEEK with the junior high hosting Malvern on Thursday and the varsity Badgers traveling to Nashville on Friday. Thursday night's junior high games will feature the normal 5:30 kickoff for 8th grade followed by the 9th grade game.
