Congratulations to the Badger basketball team on a runner-up finish in the Fordyce FB&T Bank and Mortgage Invitational last week. It was a busy week for the varsity teams as the Lady Badgers got wins over Dollarway and Haskell Harmony Grove and the Badgers picked up wins over Bismarck, Dollarway, and Haskell Harmony Grove.

The AHS cheer team also competed well in the Spa City Classic at Lake Hamilton in preparation for their state competition December 17 in Hot Springs. 

Another busy week lies ahead for all of our teams as the stretch run before Christmas break is upon us. Varsity basketball heads to Gurdon Tuesday for the first of two meetings between the two Clark County schools and the Lady Badgers will be at home again on Friday.

This will be the only time to catch our AHS Swimming and Diving teams in action in town as they will compete Friday in the HSU Invitational at the Duke Wells Center.
