As the disclaimer notes at the bottom of each of the graphics on these weekly updates, schedules can change due to weather or other reasons and last week was one of those weeks. Out schedules were altered by what we hope is our only bout with winter weather this year (sorry, kids), but the safety of teams whether they be traveling or playing at home are the first consideration when weather plays into the equation.

THE MAKEUP DATE FOR VARSITY GAMES SCHEDULED FOR JAN. 6 AT HARMONY GROVE will be announced when HHG and AHS are able to find a date that fits both teams' schedules.

THE ARKADELPHIA 7TH GRADE JAMBOREE THAT WAS POSTPONED from January 7 has been tentatively set for a reschedule date of Saturday, January 28 at AHS. The status of the 7B and 8B games currently scheduled will be announced when and possible changes are finalized.

THIS WEEK, TWO MORE HOME JUNIOR HIGH basketball dates are on tap as well as the first swimming and diving meet of the second semester. The varsity basketball teams have an open date on Tuesday before hitting the road to Jessieville on Friday night. Goza's 7th grade teams will hit I-30 south to Prescott on Saturday for their first jamboree of January.
