Second grade students at Central Primary have been studying different types of bridges. We have explored the structure and types of bridges, how they are made, and why we need them. As a way of ending the unit of study, students constructed a bride using everyday materials. Many joined teachers for a family night on Tuesday, January 13. Space and materials were provided to complete this project together. Parents and students were able to leave knowing they had successfully completed a grade level project that met science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and literacy goals.
