Arkadelphia High School is once again participating in the Brookshire's Extra Point contest, in the fall of 2015, a texting contest through October 27 that will award prizes of $5,000 and $10,000 to the top two schools in three different categories.
Badger fans can text the word "BADGERS" once a day through October 27 to help AHS climb up the list and finish in the top two in the White Division. This year, Brookshire's has split the contest into three divisions and there will be two winners in each category. The first-place team at the end of the contest will win $10,000 and the second-place team will be awarded $5,000.
When you text "BADGERS" to 43101, you'll receive a text from Brookshire's acknowledging the receipt of your text and sometimes a coupon to Brookshire's will be included. An example is pictured here:
After the first week of the contest, AHS was 7th in the White Division, but a slow week has taken AHS down to 15th in the Division. However, there's plenty of time to catch up!!
