CKH2025-2026

ARKADELPHIA, AR – Arkadelphia Public Schools is proud to announce that it has been named a 2025–2026 Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) National Showcase District. This marks the second consecutive year the district has received this prestigious honor, which recognizes excellence in fostering safe, connected, and relationally-driven school cultures.

To qualify for the district-level award, every campus within Arkadelphia Public Schools had to meet the rigorous standards required to earn the individual CKH National Showcase School designation. Our three campuses were honored for their outstanding implementation of these transformational processes:

  • Peake Elementary School - Third Consecutive Year

  • Goza Middle School - Fourth Consecutive Year

  • Arkadelphia High School - Second Consecutive Year

The National Showcase Schools award is given annually to campuses that demonstrate a high level of fidelity to the Capturing Kids’ Hearts process. This includes building strong teacher-student relationships, improving campus climate, and creating an environment where both students and staff can thrive emotionally and academically.

“This recognition reflects the intentional work and heart our staff bring to our students every single day,” the district stated. “Earning this for a second year in a row highlights our ongoing commitment to putting relationships first and ensuring every student feels seen, heard, and valued.”

Arkadelphia Public Schools continues to be a leader in heart-centered leadership, proving that a culture of care is the foundation for student success.
