The Lady Badger Softball and Badger Baseball games that are scheduled for Thursday, April 2, at home have been moved to Wednesday (tomorrow), April 1, due to potential rain. Start times are still 5:00 p.m. for both teams.
There will be a Teacher Appreciation Recognition Ceremony before the start of the softball game.

Over the weekend, the Lady Badgers competed in the Swing for a Cause tournament in Texarkana. The team earned Runner-Up! Congratulations, Lady Badgers! We are very proud of your effort.
At Thursday's track meet, the AHS 4x800 meter relay team of Hayden Darby, Jackson Prescott, Joshua Greenwich, and William Thompson broke the Arkadelphia school record with a time of 9:37 and came in second with personal records on 3 of the 4 legs. Jackson Prescott also won the 3200-meter run and got 3rd in the 1600, and Joshua Greenwich got 2nd in the mile run. Great job! Congratulations!
Congratulations to Badger Freshman Xy’Asia Harper for earning the High Point Award with 52.5 points at Tuesday’s Genoa Central Jr. High Relays. She won the long jump, high jump, 100-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, and anchored the 4x100-meter relay team that also won. She broke two meet records with her performances in the triple jump and the 200-meter dash.

Congratulations to the Lady Badger Basketball team on their outstanding 4A Region 4 Tournament run, finishing as Runner-up. The Lady Badgers will play in the 4A State Tournament on Wednesday vs. Robinson at 7:00 p.m. in Morrilton.
EVERYONE is invited to a send-off for the team as they head to state. The team bus plans to leave at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Head to High School Drive, then line Pine Street to I-30 to cheer on the Lady Badgers as they leave for the state tournament for the 4th consecutive year. Let’s Go Lady Badgers!

Today, Arkadelphia Basketball begins the postseason in Nashville at the 4A Region 4 Tournament. The Lady Badgers take on Warren this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. The Badger Boys Basketball team playson Thursday at 8:30 p.m. against Watson Chapel.

Thanks to warmer temperatures and the hard work of the Clark County Road Crews and our district Maintenance and Transportation departments, the Arkadelphia Public School District will be in session on Tuesday, February 3rd.
Schedule: Regular start times for all buildings.
Transportation: All bus routes will run as scheduled.
Please continue to use caution in parking lots and walkways as some areas could possibly be slick. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday morning!

Thank you to our Badger family for your understanding and patience over the last week! While preparations have been made to have our campuses ready to return to school this week, ice and low temperatures continue to make many side roads unsafe for travel.
Because many of our bus routes and car riders rely on these secondary roads, we have determined that the Arkadelphia School District campuses will remain CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, February 2. While we considered a late start, buses would still need to travel during unsafe hours.
We do understand this may be an inconvenience for some, but the safety of our Arkadelphia families comes first.
📢 We anticipate warmer temperatures on Monday and will communicate updates for Tuesday’s schedule by Monday evening.

Out of an abundance of caution, classes are cancelled, and the Arkadelphia School District will be closed on Friday, January 30, 2026. Unfortunately, many of our roads remain ice-covered and unsafe for student transportation.
