Arkadelphia High School inducted 31 outstanding students into the local chapter of the National Honor Society on Thursday, November 20. These students were selected based on the four pillars of NHS membership: scholarship, leadership, character, and service. The students completed an application process, including submission of a high school transcript and two recommendations from teachers.
The National Honor Society is sponsored by Arkadelphia High School Counselor Shalonda Johnson. Chapter Officers are Spencer Seel, President; Addyson Caldwell, Secretary; Rubi Marroquin, Secretary; and Emma Vardaman, Secretary. The National Honor Society brings in students who demonstrate excellence in the classroom and in the community.
