Reminder: The Badger Scholar Banquet is Monday, May 9, at the HSU Garrison Center. Doors open at 5:00pm; food service begins at 5:30 p.m. Guest check-in will be using student names. We are at capacity, please bring only the people for whom you have reserved seats.

The AHS Speech & Debate team invite you to the 5th Session of Badger Congress this evening at 5 p.m. Special guests will be Sen. Charles Beckham & Sen. Linda Chesterfield! The team will debate 3 bills constructed to cover differing levels of government. Location: Dawson Bldg. 4.

THIS THURSDAY, MAY 5, 2022!
IT'S TIME FOR 2022-23 ATHLETIC PHYSICALS. Physicals will be held at AHS beginning at 1:30 p.m. during athletics.
Forms are in the main offices of Goza and AHS. Students must bring a completed and signed questionnaire with them to the physical.

AHS inducted 45 Juniors into the National Honor Society for the 2022-2023 School Year. The core pillars of this society are scholarship, character, service, and citizenship. Counselor Shalonda McCoy is the AHS Advisor for NHS. Congratulations to all the students!

Congratulations to Arkadelphia High School's Teacher of the Year Amy Hornsby! Mrs. Hornsby teaches all of our high school art classes. She inspires her students to create amazing art. Mrs. Hornsby has also impacted many lives through her leadership with AHS FCA. Well deserved!

National Honor Society Induction Ceremony is Thursday at 9:00 a.m.

The Spanish III Class of Senior Martin Valdivia recently came to Mrs. Sara Adams' classroom to teach her students a lesson on Spanish. The students did an amazing job!




AHS 9th & 10th Graders were rewarded Friday with an ASPIRE Prize Party! Thank you students for being at school on testing days and showing your commit to do your best on the test! We also appreciate Road Runner Spirit Pump & local businesses for providing prizes for the giveaway!

AHS Freshmen and Sophomores were on campus this morning prepared to the begin the ACT Aspire. Thank you to Mr. McMillion, Mr. Herron, and everyone who works to make this happen! Special thanks to Chartwells for seeing that our students have a good breakfast to start the day!
