In observation of Veteran’s Day, Coach Mark Coon’s classes spent a class period writing heartfelt notes for Operation Gratitude, which sends care packages to our nation’s Military and First Responders. Every Care Package includes multiple notes, letters, cards, and colorful drawings to remind those who serve that “WE CARE!” 💌

Friday is Round 1 of the 4A Playoffs! The cheerleaders will once again be selling Badger temporary tattoos for spirit day at AHS. Check out the graphic for information. Go Badgers!

AHS FCA is conducting a food drive. They will be set up inside the gate at tomorrow evening’s Badger Football game.. All items will be donated to the local Ecumenical Food Pantry. Each person who donates will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket. Thank you!

• LADY BADGER VOLLEYBALL POST SEASON AWARDS •
Congratulations to the Lady Badger Volleyball players receiving All-Conference and All-State awards for the 2025 season! We are so proud of the team and coaches for their accomplishments this season.

On Friday, to celebrate October 31st, students in Mrs. Greenwich’s Algebra 1 classes solved problems covering the standards they’ve learned so far this year. After completing a set number of problems, they turned them in for a chance to draw a “trick or treat.” 🎃

Last week, students had an opportunity to hear from Mr. Jordan Dennis of Henderson State University's Aviation Department. He spoke with students about Henderson’s Aviation Program and the various career paths within aviation. Mr. Dennis also provided valuable advice on scholarships and how students can begin earning flight hours during the summer. Thank you Mr. Dennis for coming to AHS!

The No Hate Tour came to AHS on Monday afternoon. The Marines and ASA Entertainment travel spreading their message of Bullying Prevention and Mental Health. Their goal is to bring the energy of BMX action sports together with real conversations about bullying prevention, resilience, mental health, inclusion, and choosing positive influences. The riders put their hearts into every show with one goal: to empower students to stand up, support each other, and lead with kindness. It really got fun with the students and staff got involved in the show!

Earlier this month, a group of AHS students (10th, 11th, and 12th graders) attended an ACT Prep session hosted by Dawson Education Service Cooperative. Students learned helpful strategies to boost their ACT scores. We’re so grateful for our partnership with Dawson and the opportunities they provide for our students.

The Lady Badger Doubles Tennis Team of Sydney Greer and Annie Hardin won BOTH matches today at the 4A State Tennis Tournament. They play on Tuesday at 10:00a.m. in the semifinals against Clinton.
The Boys Doubles Tennis Team is starting their match to play for that opportunity.

Arkadelphia High School will host a Financial Aid Night on Thursday, October 16th, at 5:30 p.m. Our presenter will be Lisa Smith, Director of Financial Aid at Henderson State University, and Mr. Jason Jones will also share information about the Arkadelphia Promise.
