Beginning Monday, February 12 through the end of the school year, Arkadelphia Public Schools will dismiss 14 minutes later than the current schedule to make up the 5 snow days missed in January.
New dismissal times for each campus are as follows:
Perritt Primary School will dismiss at 3:09 p.m.
Peake Elementary School will dismiss at 3:09 p.m.
Goza Middle School will dismiss at 3:19 p.m.
Arkadelphia High School will dismiss at 3:19 p.m.
There is NO change to the start time at any school campus. With the later dismissals, the bus routes will be 14 minutes later in the afternoon than normal.
Thursday, May 23 will be the last day of school. Any future days missed will be added to the end of the calendar, beginning May 24th.

A reminder that there is an AHS FACE (Family And Community Engagement) meeting at noon tomorrow, Wednesday, February 7th. The Annual Title 1 presentation will be postponed until a later meeting. The regular FACE meeting will still take place in the AHS Conference Room.

At this time, we plan on running all bus routes tomorrow. If road conditions change overnight, and a bus driver encounters water over the road along their route in the morning, they will not go through it. Safety is our top priority and we appreciate your understanding. Looking forward to a sunny Friday!

With Hwy 7 east of Arkadelphia closed again this evening, Mr. Hughes (Route 14), will not be able to provide transportation to and from school tomorrow, Thursday, January 25, 2024. There may be some areas on other routes that are also impacted.
If you cannot safely get your child to and from school, please call the school office or send a note when your child returns and they will be allowed to make up all missed work without a penalty. Safety is our top priority and we appreciate your understanding.

Out of an abundance of caution, with precipitation and temps hovering around freezing for the next few hours, Arkadelphia Public Schools will be closed today. We do not want to put our staff and students on the road with the potential of worsening conditions.
Dear Badger Family,
We are hoping to be able to return to school tomorrow; however, with the forecasted freezing rain, we will be monitoring the weather closely tonight and in the early morning hours. A decision will be made by 5:30 a.m. and communicated on our website and Facebook page. Phone calls/text alerts will be initiated at 6:00 a.m.
Hopefully, we will not get the icy conditions and can get our Badgers back on campus! If we are not so lucky, stay safe!
