Arkadelphia Community and Supporters: With the holiday season just around the corner, the FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) chapter is excited to announce our upcoming fundraiser. This year, we are focusing on bringing warmth and comfort to the residents of our local nursing home by collecting fuzzy socks, blankets, and hats for Christmas.
We would appreciate your support in making this fundraiser a success. If you would like to donate, contact robin.jones@arkadelphiaschools.org or an AHS FCCLA member.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Your donations will bring warmth and happiness to those who need it most.

AHS parents, students, and staff:
Safety of our students and staff is the top priority of the Arkadelphia School District School Board and Administration. While metal detectors have been in use on a randomized basis for the past three-four years, we will be scanning every student, every day upon entry to Arkadelphia High School. Please plan morning arrival at school accordingly to account for the time involved in taking this safety precaution. Also, please report any potential safety threats that you may hear about. Every report is taken seriously and thoroughly investigated in cooperation with local authorities. We are thankful for our School Resource Officers, and the local police and sheriff's departments for always working with us to ensure our campuses are safe. While we do have safety protocols in place, we will continue to look for ways to improve our security measures at all campuses in our District. Thank you all for your continued support and for trusting us with your safety.
Sincerely,
Nikki Thomas, Superintendent
