AHS will be giving the PSAT/NMSQT test to interested Sophomores and Juniors on October 10, 2023. The cost is $18 and can be paid in the AHS Office (Checks payable to AHS). 11th-grade students who take the PSAT/NMSQT and meet other program entry requirements specified in the PSAT/NMSQT Student Guide will enter the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). Taking the PSAT as an 11th-grade student is the ONLY way to enter the National Merit Scholarship Competition.
Sophomores typically take this test to see what their score would be and to gain practice so that they do better when they take the test as a Junior.
If you want to take this test on October 10th, 2023 students will need to bring $18 to the High School Office by October 6, 2023. The test is optional.

AHS will host Be Pro Be Proud mobile workshop experience on Monday and Tuesday, September 11 and 12. Be Pro Be Proud is leading the movement to bring a new generation of pride, progress, & professionals to North America's skilled workforce. The mobile workshop will be in the parking lot between AHS and Goza. See more about the Be Pro Be Proud at www.beprobeproudar.org/champion-resource-center/the-professions

The first AHS FACE meeting of the year went great! Family and Community Engagement meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month. It’s a great way to get involved. Thanks to everyone who attended today.

Help us with our school zone traffic by slowing down, not using a cell phone, and following the traffic flow map. It's a great day to be a BADGER!

This Monday evening at 6 p.m. everyone is invited to Meet the Badgers and Badger Football AAA Benefit Scrimmage against Lake Hamilton Wolves. Admission is $5; no passes will be accepted. Come meet your Badger AHS varsity sports, cheer, and dance teams at Badger Stadium! Let's go!

AHS will host a 9th grade orientation on Thursday, August 10, at 9:00 a.m. in the Little Theater. This will be a time for incoming 9th graders to receive important information regarding AHS, as well as take a guided look around the building without the crowd of everyone else during open house. Freshmen are also invited to return for the open house, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m., that evening to meet teachers.

K-12 online enrollment is open for ANY child new to Arkadelphia Public Schools in the 2023-24 School Year.
