Congratulations to the Arkadelphia High School quiz bowl team for winning the 4A State Championship today in Conway. Each one of these team members was a part of either the band or football state championship as well. Congratulations & Go Badgers!

All welding classes for AHS students are cancelled today, Friday, April 19.
PARENTS: Clark Co. Sheriff’s Office has advised that students who ride buses that go across the river (13, 14 & 28) need to be dismissed right now due to potential flooding. Admin. is preparing those students to catch their respective buses.
THURSDAY AFTERNOON BUS ROUTE INFORMATION: Students that ride buses 13 and 28 will ALL ride bus 28 this afternoon ONLY to get home.
CLASS OF 2019 SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: AHS seniors, see the image for details on the Ms. Martha Lou Davis Scholarship which has an April 26 application deadline.

BASEBALL CHANGE No. 2: With rain in forecast for Monday & the possibility of Tuesday conference game vs. Bauxite in doubt, Arkadelphia will now play Bauxite Monday at HSU. The game will be varsity only Monday at 5:30 at HSU. Any makeup date for Fountain Lake game is TBA.
The 1st change to our schedule this week involves Monday's baseball games vs. Fountain Lake. The game will now be at 5:30 at HSU and will be a varsity-only game. Look for complete schedule for the week this evening.
SCHOOL LUNCH MENU INFO: If you’re trying to access school lunch menus on the APSD app, select the “All” option instead of “This Week” or “Next Week” in drop-down menu. Checking to see why it’s not displaying like normal.
FYI: Around 5:00 pm this evening, 2 helicopters will be landing in the grassy area between new Goza Middle School & Wal-Mart. This is in conjunction w/HSU EMT students & local emergency personnel. If you see helicopters in that area, know that it is NOT because of an emergency.
