The AHS Readers Club will have its end of the year B.A.R.F. meeting on Monday May 21, during both lunch shifts. Deep Talk follow-up meeting that evening at 6:30 at Chicken Express. Bring a good book and be ready to share.
Seniors who have finished the Think25 reading log please bring your log to Mr. Sivils and pick up your 25 Book shirt. Shirts for underclassmen will be given out starting Monday May 21. Please return your completed reading logs to Mr. Sivils as soon as possible.
Students who are interested in competing on the golf team this summer and fall should sign the list in the office. Students must have their own clubs, shoes, and golf balls, and have a pre-participation physical in order to participate. Practice starts onJune 1.
AHS students will take final exams on May 24, May 25, May 29 and May 30. See the attached schedule for more information.
Senior Awards Ceremony and slideshow is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, May 16th in the Gymnasium. The Promise signing will be that afternoon at 1:00.
The Arkadelphia Promise will hold its Eighth Annual Academic Signing Day tomorrow in the AHS gymnasium at 1 p.m. We hope you will join us as we celebrate the Class of 2018!

Arkadelphia High School's Debate Team sponsored a new event called Badger Congress on Friday, April 27. Students played the role of a representative in a mock congress set-up. Awards were given for Best Representative(s) and Bill(s). Rev. Kyle L. Jones was the guest speaker for the event.
The City of Arkadelphia Swim Team is holding tryouts on May 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Ouachita Baptist University.
Students, if you would like to have a Badger Paw with your name painted on your parking spot next year, please contact a cheerleader for the upcoming school year.
Seniors: If you have taken classes in the Virtual Arkansas classroom in the last 3 years, go by Room 532 and see if you have unpaid course fees. All fees must be paid prior to May 16th. Mrs. Smith has the list.
