The FCCLA & JROTC Fall Food Drive will be Nov. 1-15. You may bring cereal, canned vegetables/fruit, ramen noodles or boxed dry foods such as beans & rice, etc. to Ms. Jones’ or the JROTC room.
Student Advisory is having a fundraiser to get an official AHS snapchat filter. Please come by Ms. Alexander’s room & drop money for the teacher you want to see get pied in the face at the pep rally!

Arkadelphia will perform at War Memorial Stadium at 6:15 p.m. Awards will follow at 6:45 p.m.

DEADLINE IS TOMORROW! The Student Advisory Committee is raising money for Lighthouse Ministry by having a Battle of the Classes Color War. See the attached flyer for all the information.

Senior makeup pictures will be on Nov. 1. Fall makeup pictures will be on Nov. 10.
Tutoring is available for ALL students at the following times:
7:30 – 7:50 a.m.
Mondays – Math Classes
Tuesdays – Science Classes
Wednesdays – English Classes
Thursdays – Social Studies Classes
ACT Prep Class for the Dec. 9 test. The class will meet in the HUB at AHS for 5 MONDAY nights from 6-9 p.m., beginning Nov. 6th. We must have 18 students in order to hold this class.
Rick Lancaster with Herff Jones will meet with Seniors on Oct. 26 at 9:45 a.m. in the Little Theater. He will be handing out graduation information.
Advisory groups will meet Wednesday, Oct. 25. There will be guest speakers for the Seminar in the following locations:
9th & 10th Grades - Main Gym
11th Grade - Cafeteria
12th Grade - Little Theatre
Oct. 23-31 is Red Ribbon Week. There will be a table set up during lunch today & Mr. Sivils will pass out ribbons & bookmarks. There will be drug pledge certificates available to sign on Wednesday.
Several college representatives were at AHS this morning answering questions & providing information to interested juniors & seniors.




The Badger Pride Marching Band received Outstanding General Effect, Class B Champions, & 7th in Overall finals for their performance at Championship at the Rock Marching Contest on Saturday!



Arkadelphia Junior ROTC competed in the JROTC Raider Challenge on Saturday. Events included: physical training, map reading, land navigation, pentathlon, cross country rescue, ruck march & more.




Michelle Mays spoke at FCA during both lunches on Wednesday, Oct. 18. Michelle brought a message of hope. She is a breast cancer survivor; she was diagnosed at the age of 22 years.
The GEOIED class is finishing up a project where they used the design cycle to produce an innovative Fidget Spinner design. The project involved the use of Autodesk Inventor and a 3D Printer.

The ASVAB will be administered on Oct. 24th from 8 a.m. until 11:20 a.m. in the Little Theater. Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors may sign up for test in the Counselors’ office or JROTC room.
The annual College/Career Fair is scheduled for Oct. 23 in the auxiliary gym from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for AHS juniors and seniors and Gurdon seniors. A detailed
schedule will be released soon.
