The Arkadelphia Public School District is inviting applications for the Board of Education Zone 4 position due to a recent vacancy.
Applicants must verify that they reside within Zone 4. The appointed individual will serve until the term ends in 2030.
Eligibility & Requirements. An individual who wishes to be considered for appointment to fill this vacancy shall:
Be a qualified elector who resides in the District and the applicable District Zone; and
Submit a petition (pickup at the district office at 700 Clinton Street or call 870-246-1100 and request a copy ) to the District that:
a. States the individual’s intention to be considered for the appointment to fill the vacancy;
b. Is signed by at least twenty (20) qualified electors who reside within the District Zone where the vacancy exists; and
c. Must be submitted by Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, at the District Administration Office at 700 Clinton Street Arkadelphia, AR
The meeting to fill the vacancy will be held on Tuesday, May 12th at 5:15 p.m. at the District Office upstairs conference room.
