Attendance Pro

Arkadelphia Public Schools is pleased to announce a new program through our partnership with Apptegy aimed at improving communication with families about student attendance. This is a new program for every school in the district. This collaboration is part of our commitment to reducing missed class time and to ensuring timely, two-way communication about your child's attendance.

On Monday, August 17, 2026, designated parents/guardians will begin receiving a personalized text directly from our Attendance Pro when their child is absent from school. The text will come from one of the following numbers, depending on the student’s school:

  • Peake Elementary School: 1-870-354-5946

  • Goza Middle School: 1-870-354-5746

  • Arkadelphia High School: 1-870-242-3152

Designated parents/guardians can now text back directly to this number, ask questions about their child's attendance, and send pictures of parent notes and doctor's notes regarding the absence. Once they have this number saved, a designated parent/guardian can initiate a text message to the school regarding absences.  PLEASE keep your contact information up-to-date with your child's school.

The built-in Attendance Assistant will process their response and update the student’s absence reason according to the information provided. Attendance clerks can review the attendance data and can reach out to families via the text number.

Please take the time to view the  Attendance Pro Parent training video created by AHS FBLA Students.

After watching, please complete the brief participant survey linked below. Once you have submitted the survey, upload proof of your submission using the Google Form provided. The survey submission form will close on August 19 at 3:00 PM. Everyone who submits proof of their completed survey will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Visa gift card.

This will help us improve our technology training resources! Thank you!
