The APS Board of Education approved the 2015-16 district calendar during the April board meeting. Monday, Aug. 17 will be the first day of the 2015-16 school year, which will conclude on Friday, May 27, 2016. Other highlights of the calendar are one week off for Thanksgiving Break from Nov. 23-27, two weeks off for Christmas Break from Dec. 21-Jan. 1, one week off for Spring Break from March 21-25, and holidays off including Labor Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and President’s Day. Any days missed for inclement weather will be made up beginning May 31.
