APSD Campuses Hold Spelling Bees

Arkadelphia Public School District campuses held their annual Spelling Bee competitions early in the spring semester and those winners are listed below. Winners of the school bees advanced to the Clark County Spelling Bee, held at different times for the different grades. 

Peake Elementary student James Bautista won the Clark County Spelling Bee that sends a winner to the state spelling bee and will represent Clark County in the Arkansas State Spelling Bee.

CENTRAL PRIMARY – 2ndgrade winners:
1stplace: Drew Howard
2ndplace: Ryne Alexander
3rdplace: Kambry Elgas

CENTRAL PRIMARY – 3rdgrade winners:
1stplace: Jayla Lee
2ndplace: David Garrett
3rdplace: Ben Taylor

PEAKE ELMENTARY Clark Country Spelling Bee Participants: Ja’nya McKillion, Kaylin Garrett, Madeline Almand, Seth Molinari, James Bautista and Spencer Seel

PEAKE ELEMENTARY students James Bautista (1st place) and Spencer Seel (2ndplace) placed at the Clark County Spelling Bee. Bautista will represent Peake and APSD in the Arkansas State Spelling Bee.
