The Lady Badger Doubles Tennis Team of Sydney Greer and Annie Hardin won BOTH matches today at the 4A State Tennis Tournament. They play on Tuesday at 10:00a.m. in the semifinals against Clinton.

Congratulations to Kingston Dixon and Spencer Williams (not pictured), who recently qualified for the all-region tenor bass choir. They will perform in the All-Region Choir Concert at Hot Springs First Baptist Church on November 8th. The AHS/Goza Choir Director is Mr. Aaron McCain. Job well done!

TONIGHT, Jr. High Football travels to Fountain Lake to take on the Cobras. There is an update to the original schedule for this evening. Ftn. Lake has cancelled the 8th grade game. Now, 7th grade will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the 9th grade will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Last week on game day, our Freshmen Badgers showed up in style—sharp looks and sharp plays! Even Officer Randy Lau stepped in to provide a jacket for one of our players. The team capped off the night with a thrilling win over Bauxite, scoring the game-winning touchdown with just 6 seconds left on the clock.

Advanced Placement Physics 1 students in Magen Atkinson's class are finishing up Unit 1: Kinematics. A major focus of this unit is projectile motion. Students were challenged to design, build, and test Trebuchets this week. Using the data they collected, they will determine the relationship between launch angle, flight time, and range of a projectile.

The AHS Capturing Kids Hearts Process Champion team put together a teacher tree of affirmation that is being displayed in the AHS Hallway. Teachers were able to "leaf" an affirmation for one of their amazing coworkers. Now they are hanging on the wall for all to see how together we grow. 💙💙

The Arkadelphia Badger Freshmen Football team is off to a great start this season. Congratulations on your victory over Cabot North Jr. High on Thursday night. They will travel to Malvern this Thursday. Go Badgers!
The AHS CKH Process Champions team showed their appreciation to the AHS Staff this afternoon by treating them to Sip Sip Hooray — a fun soda & water bar. They had the opportunity to “leaf” an affirmation for a couple of their amazing co-workers, too!

Members of the Arkadelphia JROTC were on hand last Saturday to assist with the Soldiers of Service Never Forget 5K. They cheered on the runners that included their own Badger Battalion Cadet Jordan Askew as he completed the race. A great event remembering the heroes of 9-11.
