We appreciate Arkadelphia High School FBLA for providing pizza for our staff Tuesday during the professional development day. Mrs. Wesley gave an update on the chapter and their performance at the state and national conference. It was great to have some of the members on hand to help with the pizza party. Your representation of our school is outstanding!

We are proud to share that Arkadelphia High School has been recognized as one of the top schools in Arkansas for student-athletes. In an article published by USA Today High School Sports, Arkadelphia High School ranked sixth in the state based on a study conducted by Niche. The criteria for the ranking are based on survey feedback from students and parents, accounting for reviews of athletics, number of state championships, student participation in athletics, and the number of sports offered at the school, as well as data from the U.S. Department of Education.

🥎 Youth Softball Camp Update! 🥎
We found out today that maintenance will begin Tuesday morning on the softball field at the Sports Complex and will not be available for camp. The new location for the rest of camp is at the Feaster Softball field. Also, any youth grades 1-6 can still join the remaining sessions of camp for $20 (this does not include a shirt). Thank you!
🌧️ Weather Update 🌧️
Lady Badger Softball Camp kicks off tomorrow morning! Due to rainy conditions, Monday’s session will be held at Crossway Athletics (80 Robin Lane, Arkadelphia). See the graphic for more information.
We can’t wait to see all our youth softball campers there! 🥎💙
Attention Parents of 2025-2026 AHS Freshmen!
Please mark your calendars for Freshmen Orientation on Thursday, August 7th at 1:00 p.m. This will give students and their families the opportunity to hear from the AHS Leadership. It will also provide time for students to walk through the halls with their schedule and become familiar with common areas in the building.
We will see you on August 7th!

This week, AHS JROTC Instructors Colonel Robert Parsons and SFC Jeffrey Ward accompanied three AHS JROTC Students to the Arkansas Junior Cadet Leadership Camp (JCLC). The training involved a variety of areas including flight operations. The group left Monday morning for Camp Robinson in North Little Rock and return Friday after their graduation ceremony. Congratulations to Dillon Botsford, Xavier Moreno, and Caleb Yepez on taking on this opportunity to enhance your leadership skills!

Twelve senior students have completed the required 60 hours of coursework to sit for the Arkansas Real Estate exam, thanks to a collaborative partnership between local businesses, organizations, and McGraw Realty from Benton, Arkansas.
This unique opportunity was made possible through the dedicated instruction of Kim Gaines of McGraw Realty, who came to campus for eight days throughout the second semester to lead the comprehensive training sessions. Her expertise and commitment provided students with the knowledge and preparation needed to pursue licensure in real estate.
This program would not have been possible without the generous support of community sponsors. Crye-Leike of Arkadelphia sponsored four students, generously covering all meals for the duration of the program and hosting a celebratory meal upon its completion. The Ross Foundation provided full sponsorships for six students. Patterson Federal Credit Union sponsored one student, while Southern Bancorp and Java Primo partnered to provide additional meals for participants.
Given the program’s success, plans are underway to offer it again next year, allowing even more students the chance to explore career pathways in real estate.
The AHS 2024-2025 Fourth Grading Period and Second Semester Honor Rolls.

The two-weeks preceding semester exams, our BX3 team challenged the students to a "no tardy" competition. The winning 9th graders had a total of 9,920 chances to be on time to class — and they showed up on time 9,818 times! That’s only 102 tardies across the entire grade… a 99% punctuality rate!
To celebrate their incredible effort, we threw a No Tardy Party on May 15th! Students enjoyed donuts, OJ, Yoo-hoos, and had a blast with games, dancing, and lots of laughter. It was a great way to reward their responsibility and start the day with joy.
Check out some of the fun in the pictures below!

Special memories from Teacher Appreciation Week 2025. The AHS Paraprofessionals presented the Special Education Teachers at AHS with color-coordinated gift buckets! Reading Teacher Joan Crowder received flowers from her mom for Teacher Appreciation Week, and students showed their appreciation by participating in TAW Spirit Days. 💙
Congratulations to Coach Drew Loe and Arkadelphia Badger Baseball on their outstanding season!
We also congratulate the players who have received special recognition for their accomplishments this year.
We are proud of all of you!

Attention Arkadelphia 9th-12th Grade Students!

Show your support for the Arkadelphia Badgers by purchasing a PAW PRINT on High School Drive or (student) assigned parking spot! Contact one of the AHS Cheer Team members to reserve your paw.

A group of Arkadelphia High School students recently had the opportunity to tour the Veolia facilities. Veolia is the world’s largest environmental services company and a key manufacturer right here in Clark County. Thank you to Carla Herron and Veolia for hosting our students!

Junior Clark Wingfield was recently recognized at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion for his artwork “Legacy on Pine Street." Clark's artwork was selected from students all across the state based on the theme of Arkansas History. Congratulations, Clark on being honored!
