9th grade quiz bowl will begin on September 11, 2017 from 3:05 until 4:15.
SENIOR pictures will be taken Monday, September 11th in the Little Theater.
ACT PREP CLASS REGISTRATION: Seniors have first priority until Sept 13th. Remaining seats will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. For further information, see Ms. Shearer in the office.

AHS Students: Badger Scholar Intent Forms are available in Ms. Alexander's Room. You must fill out this form in order to be considered for Badger Scholar.
Students interested in FBLA should see Mrs. Wesley (Keener) & pick up a membership form. Membership dues are $10. The Fall Conference is October 4th & is an additional $15. Deadline is September 11.
There will be an FCA meeting every Wednesday in Ms. Hornsby’s room for 1st lunch students. Ms. Mays will host 2nd lunch students at a later date. All students are welcome to bring your lunch & attend
Sophomores: The PSAT will be given at AHS on October 25, 2017. The cost for the PSAT will be $20.00. You must sign- up & pay to take this test by Sept. 15, 2017.
Students interested in FCCLA should see Mrs. Jones or Mrs. Phillips & pick up a membership form. Past members please come to see us ASAP. Membership
dues are $12. Deadline to join is September 22.

AHS students were able to view the Solar Eclipse this afternoon with All-American Solar Eclipse Viewing Shades.

The Eclipse opt-out letter being sent home with students today is also available on the school website in the Documents link.
AHS students will view the eclipse Monday at school by using glasses that have a high safety rating. If you do NOT want your student to participate, sign and return the letter being sent home today.
AHS kicked off the 2017-18 school year today. We are looking forward to a year full of accomplishments!
