Perritt Primary School was one of ten schools receiving the R.I.S.E. (Reading Initiative for Student Excellence) School Award at last week's Arkansas Department of Education Summit. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication of our students and staff to earn this award!

July 15th is the last day to submit documents, complete FAFSA, and to accept the scholarship. *Remember to receive the Promise, you must receive the Challenge Scholarship.

Perritt Primary has been selected as a recipient of the 2022 RISE School Award by the Arkansas Department of Education. Perritt will be recognized at the 2022 Arkansas Department of Education Summit. Perritt Primary School is one of only ten schools in Arkansas receiving this award. We are very proud of this achievement and of the entire faculty and staff at Perritt Primary School.

Art Teachers from Dawson Education Cooperative Schools have been at AHS this week for professional development. They are creating some amazing art! Great projects to come for their students.
APSD welcomes Preston Crowder as the new Junior High Badger Basketball Coach. Preston is an Arkadelphia High School graduate. He began his coaching career in the Lakeside School District. Preston will also assist with Junior High Football. Welcome Coach Crowder!
APSD is excited to share that Stephanie Givens will be the 2022-23 Perritt Primary School Principal! We look forward to seeing Perritt Primary continue to flourish under Mrs. Given’s leadership in collaboration with the Perritt Primary Staff.
Mrs. Givens served as the 2021-22 Goza Middle School Assistant Principal. She will begin her 23rd year in education as principal. Her experience includes teaching first and third grades in the Benton, Lakeside, and Hot Springs School Districts. She is a Capturing Kids' Hearts Process Champion and held her National Board Certification.
Mrs. Givens received her undergraduate degree from HSU and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from ASU. Congratulations Mrs. Givens!
