The power was restored at Arkadelphia High School late last night. AHS WILL be in session today, September 2, 2026. We appreciate the work of the Entergy crew to have power restored. Thank you.
Power is currently down at Arkadelphia High School. Entergy crews are on-site actively working on the issue, but it is uncertain if power will be restored to conduct school tomorrow. We will notify all high school staff, students, and parents of the official school status by 6:30 AM tomorrow.
Note: This outage affects Arkadelphia High School ONLY. Peake Elementary and Goza Middle Schools are running on normal schedules.
Ashlee is ready to work with our students as they map out their goals after graduation. She will be helping our students with College & Technical Program Preparation, Scholarships & Financial Aid, Career & Workforce Connections, and 1-on-1 Postsecondary Planning.
This position is grant-funded through a partnership with rootEd Arkansas and the Arkansas Department of Education. Before the school year began, Mrs. Vaughan participated in the rootEd Arkansas Training Conference in Siloam Springs to bring back the best strategies and resources for our students. 💙

In the 2026-2027 school year, we are excited to welcome Brittany Miller to Peake Elementary School as a 2nd grade teacher! A proud graduate of the Arkadelphia School District, Brittany grew up right here in our community and is currently finishing her Master of Education degree at Southern Arkansas University. She is eager to give back and make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of her students. We are so happy to have her home and as part of the Peake family.

In the 2026-2027 school year, we are proud to highlight Caleb Loe as a Social Studies teacher at Goza Middle School. Caleb is entering his 8th year of teaching and coaching, where he also serves our student-athletes as the Assistant Wrestling Coach and Assistant Baseball Coach. Caleb works hard every day to lead our students to success both in the classroom and on the field. We are so happy to have Coach Loe making a difference at Goza.
