The CONE foundation is associated with the Ross Foundation and provides money for worthy nonprofit organizations in Clark County. These educators, through their grant applications exhibited a need that the CONE members of 2021 felt was significant and deserved funding through this grant.

The Arkansas Governor's School is a program that creates a unique experience for some of Arkansas' best students. It provides four full weeks of pursuits with an intellectual atmosphere impossible to sustain in ordinary academic settings. Behind the AGS curriculum is the assumption that these skills will be universally important, no matter what career path a student may choose.

Welcome to the APSD School Board, Clark Tennyson!
Clark is the Executive Vice President of Clark Timberlands. A timber management company located in Arkadelphia. He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2005 where he earned his degree in Business Administration. Clark serves on the Board for the Ross Foundation, Arkansas Forestry Association and Southern Bancorp Community Partners. Raised in El Dorado, Clark was active in various community organizations and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1999. He has been married to his wife, Katie, since 2008 and they have a son Thomas who is currently at Perritt Primary in first grade. They reside in Arkadelphia and are members of 3rd Street Baptist Church.
