Cheryl Hilser joins the staff at Peake Elementary School this year as their new counselor. Cheryl grew up in California. She is a graduate of HSU and ASU. Ms. Hilser is super excited to be a Badger! Welcome Cheryl Hilser to Arkadelphia!

We are excited about our Peake staff in 2023-24! We welcomed some new faces and some familiar faces are in new places. It's going to be a great year for Peake Elementary School before moving into our new school next year.

APSD welcomes Paige Purifoy to our staff this year. Paige is a P.E. Teacher at Goza Middle School. She will also be the Assistant Coach for volleyball and softball. Coach Purifoy is a graduate of Farmington High School and Ouachita Baptist University. Welcome to Paige Purifoy!

Attention Parents and Guardians! Patterson Federal Credit Union will be giving a $250 gift card to one family on each of our campuses. The family will be selected during a random drawing. Families are entered into the drawing when a student returns all the Student/Family paperwork that is sent home on the first day of school. This includes handbook, technology, free/reduced meal application, and other important agreements. Any parent who completes the applications through our digital options will be included in the drawing. Please be looking for this packet from your child’s school and return them to get your family in the drawing!

Thank you to Shane Seaton, OBU Recreational Life Director, and the OBU freshmen who spent time last week volunteering at Perritt. The students were participating in FOOT (Freshmen Outdoor Orientation Trip). They were a tremendous help to get Perritt ready for Open House and the start of school!
