Congratulations to AHS Senior Aisha Faiq! Aisha won 2nd place in the 2019 Arkansas School Boards Association (ASBA) Student Essay/Speaking contest. The topic was, "Is TRUST our most valuable currency? Why or why not?" Aisha attended the ASBA State Conference this morning to deliver her speech to school board members and superintendents from across the state who were in attendance. What an honor for Arkadelphia to have a student get to speak in that forum! Way to go, Aisha!
Today during the annual ASBA (Arkansas School Board Association) conference, Ms. Paulette Blacknall was recognized for 50 + hours of continuing education. APSD is thankful to have great Board members willing to dedicate their time to the betterment of our district. Congratulations Ms Blacknall!!!
The Arkadelphia Instrumental Music Department will have its annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday December 10th beginning at 7pm. The concert will be held at OBU's Jones Performing Arts Center and is free to the public.
