APSD is proud to introduce Mr. Trent Wilson. Coach Wilson will be teaching PE and coaching football. Coach Wilson and his wife have one son and are expecting a new baby in December. Coach is scared of heights but always climbs 20 feet in the air to hunt. Welcome Coach Wilson.
APSD is proud to introduce Mr. Russell Powell. Mr. Powell will be teaching Chemistry at Arkadelphia High School. Mr. Powell's hometown is Monticello, AR. Mr. Powell and his wife have one daughter. Mr. Powell loves anything Disney. Welcome Mr. Powell.
APSD is proud to introduce Mrs. Molly Tucker. Mrs. Tucker will be teaching 1st Grade at Perritt. Mrs. Tucker's hometown is El Dorado, AR. She and her husband have two daughters. Welcome Mrs. Tucker.
APSD is proud to introduce Mrs. Sarah Matlock. Mrs. Matlock will be the GT Coordinator/AP Coordinator for the district. Mrs. Matlock is from Gurdon, AR. Her and her husband have 3 sons. Mrs. Matlock is a beekeeper. Ask her about her bees!!!! Welcome Mrs. Matlock.

APSD is proud to introduce Ms. Della Miller. Ms. Miller will be teaching 7th Grade Math at Goza. Ms. Miller is from Prescott, AR. Ms. Miller loves to travel and her ultimate dream vacation is to explore Italy. Welcome Ms. Miller.
APSD is proud to introduce Brian Fowler. Mr. Fowler will be the Assistant Band Director. Mr. Fowler's hometown is Hot Springs, AR. He and his wife have two boys. Welcome Mr. Fowler.
APSD is proud to introduce Lauren Dotson. Ms. Dotson will be teaching 10th Grade English at Arkadelphia High School. Ms. Dotson's hometown is Smithville, AR. She loves cats and plays the guitar and ukulele. Welcome Ms. Dotson.
APSD is proud to introduce Hillary Brown. Mrs Brown will be teaching 3rd Grade at Central Primary. Mrs. Brown was an extra on pilot TV show for ABC. WOW we have a star among us!! Her hometown is Abilene, TX. Welcome Mrs. Brown.
APSD is proud to introduce Meridith Armstrong. Mrs. Armstrong will be teaching 6th Grade Literacy/Social Studies at Goza Middle School. Her desire is to show students that they can be challenged and have fun learning simultaneously. Welcome Mrs. Armstrong!!

Due to a power outage at the facility, the Early Childhood Center in Gum Springs will be closed today.
We’re excited that AHS is hosting the 1st ARobotics Championship event this weekend at AHS. Thanks to Badger Robotics and coaches Bud McMillion and Jacob Roberson for spearheading this weekend’s event. Admission is free so come see 16 of the states best Robotics teams!
