AHS and Goza FBLA members teamed up today for the 3rd Annual ALS Bowl-a-thon! Students, advisers, and even a bus driver joined the effort to turn strikes into support for a great cause.
Through the generosity of local sponsors and pledges collected by members, $2,000 was raised for Team Gleason—a foundation dedicated to providing assistive technology to individuals living with ALS. We’re proud of our students for using their leadership skills to make a difference in the community.

Last night, the AHS FFA Chapter held its first annual FFA Awards Banquet at the Clark County Fairgrounds. It was a special event with awards, new officer installation, special guests, and door prizes. Special thanks to Adviser Sammy Cox and the Arkadelphia FFA Alumni & Supporters, as well as Patterson Federal Credit Union for providing some great food. We look forward to many more banquets in the coming years.

Celebrations for the Arkadelphia Class of 2025 are just getting started! Today, they got to pass through the halls of the Peake Elementary School for the Senior Walk. Though this is a new Peake building, they could still reconnect with former teachers, visit the playground, and reminisce about the years when their education began. We are so proud to honor their journey and cheer them on to the finish line!

Brooklyn Sexton, a student at Peake Elementary, received a Badger Pride Award for this month. She was nominated by Ms. Nicole McGough, Vice President of Business Development at Patterson Federal Credit Union for her extraordinary display of compassion and leadership. Brooklyn noticed that some of her classmates were struggling with food insecurity — and she didn’t wait for someone else to fix it. Instead, she organized a food drive in her own neighborhood. Her efforts resulted in over 1,500 individually packaged food items, all donated to the Backpack Program in Arkadelphia, which helps ensure students have enough to eat over the weekends. Brooklyn’s selflessness, initiative, and heart for her community remind us what it truly means to be a Badger.
Way to go Brooklyn!
