It's Arkansas Celebrate Freedom Week in education! Coach Chandler’s Civics classes have been studying the historical foundations of U.S. constitutional principles, focusing on key legal documents from Great Britain and France. After analyzing excerpts from the Magna Carta and other early texts, students participated in an interactive debate where each group was assigned a constitutional principle, such as separation of powers. As Coach Chandler read sections of the Magna Carta, students argued whether their principle originated from the excerpt, sparking dynamic discussions and thoughtful responses about the roots of U.S. Constitutional principles. For more information on Celebrate Freedom Week visit https://dese.ade.arkansas.gov/Offices/learning-services/curriculum-support/constitution-day-and-celebrate-freedom-week #BadgerPride
