Georgia Neal was recognized with a Badger Pride Award during the May School Board meeting. Georgia won the Clark County 4th-8th Grade Spelling Bee. She finished in the top half of all competitors in the Arkansas Spelling Bee. Georgia just completed the fourth grade at Peake Elementary School. We are so proud of you Georgia. Perritt Primary School 2nd Grade Student Finley Denton was recognized in the May School Board Meeting with a Badger Pride Award. She was nominated by her teacher, Candace Williams, who shares that Finley is a help to all students. She has a sweet demeanor and a calmness that makes others feel seen and loved. She takes the time to make sure her classmates understand assignments and assist them if they need it. Finley has a heart of gold that shows in all she does. Mrs. Williams states that Finley has made her year as a teacher more manageable by consistently helping others on any given day; she makes the world a better place. Keep shining Finley! #BadgerPride

2023-24 Arkadelphia Public Schools New Teachers got a visit from Superintendent Nikki Thomas and Director of Curriculum and Instruction Jeanette Turner at the end of the year. They received a Survivor Gift Bag filled with treats. We are grateful they will be returning to the Tribe next school year. Thanks for all you do for our schools! #BadgerPride

Perritt Primary students had Pizza with Police to end the school year. Thank you to Patterson Federal Credit Union for providing the pizza and Veolia for providing water bottles. The final dismissal at Perritt Primary School was one to remember. One of tears, laughter, celebrations, pictures, and videos that all come because of the special place that Louisa E. Perritt Primary School has been since it was erected in 1960. Thank you to Mrs. Stephens, the Perritt teachers, and support staff for making it another great day to be a Badger! #BadgerPride

We would like to announce that Meridith Armstrong, Goza Middle School 7th and 8th Grade History Teacher, has been named the Arkadelphia Public School District Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Armstrong recently received the James Atkinson Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Arkansas History from the Arkansas Historical Association. She will now represent Arkadelphia for the 2024-25 Arkansas Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to Mrs. Armstrong! #BadgerPride
