In the October school board meeting, Perritt student Messiah McDonald was presented with a Badger Pride Award. Diann Lawhon, teacher, and Debbie Stephens, principal, wrote the following about Messiah: Messiah displays daily what it looks like to persevere due to the obstacles he has dealt with in his short life. He gets out of the car each morning with a smile on his face and comes to school ready to conquer the world. He works hard and never gives up on the tasks that are placed before him. He never meets a stranger and is friends with all that come in contact with him. Everyone knows his name and the entire staff and student body gravitate towards him. He helps to keep us all accountable with our daily attitudes and outlook because he is always so full of joy and his smile is infectious. Messiah is the epitome of what Badger Pride should look like each day. Congratulations Messiah! We are so proud of you! #BadgerPride
