Thank you to Dr. Kenneth Harris for his service on the Arkadelphia Public School Board of Education! Dr. Harris was first elected to the school board in 1983. He is retired and he serves for zone 2.

Thank you to Mrs. Gina White for her service on the Arkadelphia Public School Board of Education! Mrs. White was first elected in 2015 to the school board. She is an attorney with White & Marks. She is married to Rob and has one daughter in the district, Lauren. She serves the zone 7 for our school district.

Thank you to Dr. Kevin Casey Motl for his service on the Arkadelphia Public School Board of Education! Dr. Motl has lived since 2006 in Arkadelphia, where he works as the R. Voyt Hill Professor of History at Ouachita Baptist University. He and his wife Lori have three children, all of whom are either graduates of or currently enrolled in Arkadelphia Public Schools. He has been fortunate to have worked with the APSD Board of Education since 2013.

Thank you to Mr. Blake Bell for his service on the Arkadelphia Public School Board of Education! Mr. Bell is a third generation Arkadelphia High School graduate and married to a third generation graduate and former classmate. He is a founding member of the Arkadelphia Badger Foundation and President and Founding Member of the Arkadelphia Football Club, now in its 12th season.

Thank you to Dr. Jeff Root for his service on the Arkadelphia Public School Board of Education! Dr. Root is a proud graduate of Arkadelphia High School (class of 1979), Ouachita Baptist University, the University of Arkansas and Oklahoma State University. He taught social studies and journalism at Arkadelphia High School in the 1980s. He has been at OBU since 1991, where he serves as dean of two schools: the School of Humanities and the Huckabee School of Education.

Welcome to the APSD School Board, Ida Tramble! Ida. M. (Hunter) Tramble was born and reared in Arkadelphia. A graduate of Peake High School and Henderson State Teachers College, she began teaching career in Camden in 1971 and retired in Arkadelphia 2012. She has taught seventh - ninth graders, eleventh graders, and adults. She is a current member of the Clark County Retired Teachers, Arkansas Retired Teachers, Arkansas Education Association Retired Teachers, Peake High Alumni Foundation INC., Bethel AME in Camden and Pleasant Hill (Joan) Arkadelphia, and last, but not least, the Arkadelphia School District Board. She has two children and two grandchildren.
