Congratulations to the Goza Middle School Quiz Bowl team who won the championship last Saturday at the state competition! Alaina Metcalf was named to the Region and State All-Tournament Team. David Garrett was also named to the State All-Tournament Team. Outstanding job by our students and coordinator, Misti Dixon.

Perritt celebrated the Great Kindness Challenge in January and their Kindness Committee helped spread kindness like confetti! We are grateful for our three SROs and the impact they have on our students, schools, and community. Their many positive contributions include ensuring physical safety, building relationships, and educating the entire community on school safety topics and needs. Members of the Arkadelphia High School FBLA Chapter presented during the February Regular School Board Meeting. February is Career and Technical Education Month.
The group shared an overview of the Career and Technical Education Pathways offered to students at Arkadelphia High School. They also gave details of the CTE Student Organizations that give students opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills in CTE Pathways. The CTE Student Organizations in our district include FBLA, Educators Rising, and FCCLA. Mrs. Ashley Wesley and Mrs. Kedriel Johnson are the AHS FBLA Advisers. Great job FBLA!

The Arkadelphia High School Educator Rising Chapter presented to students at Peake Elementary on Wednesday. The AHS students shared lessons they had prepared on Black History and the influential figures who helped change the world. A great way to celebrate Black History Month!
