To achieve this district-wide honor, each one of our school campuses earned the individual CKH National Showcase School designation. In the words of CKH: “These campuses are shining examples of what it looks like to lead with heart, build strong relationships, and create cultures where both students and staff thrive.” Congratulations, Peake Elementary (3rd consecutive year), Goza Middle School (4th consecutive year), and Arkadelphia High School (2nd consecutive year). We’re proud of our team and grateful for our amazing district community!

Kindergarteners in Mrs. Hartsell’s class at Peake Elementary spent their Friday hunting for more than just treats—they were hunting for knowledge! During their "Write the Room" Easter Egg Hunt, students tracked down 20 hidden words, practicing their writing and phonics skills with every find. We love seeing our students so engaged in the ultimate learning challenge!

Empowering the future of education! 📚✨
Superintendent Nikki Thomas and AHS Principal Callie Hunley, along with Gurdon Public School Administrators, spent Wednesday morning at Henderson State University, sharing their expertise with the next wave of teacher interns. From mastering the interview to navigating social media and ethics, it was all about preparing these interns for success in the classroom.
We love seeing the passion in these future educators!

The AHS FBLA and Beta Club, Goza Middle School FBLA, and community sponsors fulfilled their goal to generously assist the 11 families affected by the recent apartment fire. Through the "Badgers Give Back" fundraiser, our students and sponsors presented each family with a $1,000 check on Monday. Special appreciation to Nicole McGough, Patterson Federal Credit Union; Ashley Wesley, AHS FBLA Adviser; Magen Atkinson, Beta Club Adviser; and LaKesha Berry, Goza FBLA Adviser for their efforts to lead this project with our students. Once again, special thanks to the community sponsors for your generous support. The impact on these families could be seen, heard, and felt.
