AHS Virtual Student Ethan Green was recognized as the Virtual Arkansas December Student of the Month. Virtual Arkansas serves over 50,000 students across the state of Arkansas. Ethan was recognized at the January School Board meeting with a Badger Pride Award. Great work Ethan!

Thursday, Feb. 17 is Parent Teacher Conferences from 2pm-7pm. No school for students on Thursday(PTC), Friday(Teacher Flex Day), & Monday(President's Day); February 17 - 21. Arkadelphia will host the 4A-7 District Sr. High Basketball Tournament Feb. 14-19. Let's go Badgers!

Dr. Jeff Root was recognized with a Badger Pride Award for his dedication to bringing us Badger football on Friday nights. Dr. Root has been a part of the broadcast team for 34 years. He first joined the radio booth with Rex Nelson in 1984. He took a few years off for graduate school and has continued faithfully since then. The broadcast now includes the video production as well as radio. We appreciate Dr. Root and his support of the Badgers!

District COVID-19 Update: Governor Asa Hutchinson announced in his press conference on Tuesday, February 1 that schools should follow new quarantine guidelines in order to balance the education and physical well-being of schools.  Beginning tomorrow, February 3, contact tracing and quarantine of students will not be in effect.  Any student who is currently quarantined has the option to stay home until his or her assigned return date or come back onsite beginning tomorrow.  Any student or staff member who tests positive must report his or her’s positive results to the district Point of Contact.  A positive case requires that the individual isolate for at least five days.  For questions concerning this new procedure, please email beth.hasley@arkadelphiaschools.org
