Last week, Goza Middle School held a special lunch for the faculty and staff to celebrate two recognitions the campus has recently received. Goza Middle School has been accepted as part of the Arkansas Department of Education’s Professional Learning Communities Project. Goza Middle School has also been named a Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase School. These accomplishments are tied to the hard work and dedication of the teachers, support staff, and administrators at Goza. Congratulations!

Today was a great day for the Arkadelphia Class of 2023 on their final day on campus. It was topped off with the Arkadelphia Promise Signing Ceremony. Four members of the AHS Educators Rising chapter were recognized at last month’s APSD Board meeting for qualifying to compete at the 2023 Educators Rising National Conference held in Orlando, Florida this June. To be eligible for the one-time P-EBT summer benefit payment, parents MUST have completed a Free/Reduced Meal Application for the 2022-23 School Year. If you have not previously done so, the form must be turned in to your child’s school before May 31, 2023.

AHS Students are wrapping up the end-of-year Advanced Placement exams. There were 138 students who took at least one of 13 different AP courses offered through AHS. Many students took multiple tests making our AP Exam count 345. Tests are coordinated by Misti Dixon. Great job!
