Six AHS FBLA members were recognized in the recent APSD School Board meeting for qualifying to compete at the 2023 FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer in Atlanta, Georgia. A record number for the AHS Chapter! Congratulations to these students:
Caiden Dickerson 1st Place in Digital Video Production
Blaise Batson 1st Place in Future Business Leader
Blaise Batson, Mychia Leatherwood, and Emilee Young 1st Place in Community Service Project
Mtende Moyo 3rd Place in Graphic Design
Naffaterria Horton 4th Place in Computer Applications
Additionally, Blaise Batson was the only Arkansas student to be recognized with the Capstone Award, the highest level in the National FBLA Business Achievement Awards. She was awarded a $500 scholarship and is competing for a $5,000 cash prize at the NLC.
Recently, AHS FBLA was also named a 2022-23 National FBLA Gold Champion Chapter.

Thursday’s campus appreciation meal was as welcoming as a summer day on the beach! Thank you Goza Middle School teachers, administrators, and support staff for your hard work and high expectations for student learning!
Throughout the week, our district administration, business office, transportation, maintenance, and special education employees took part in the appreciation lunch. We are grateful for all you do to support our teachers and students. A special shout out to Rendi Currey for organizing the appreciation lunches and PFCU for sponsoring the Java Primo meal.










The Arkadelphia Lady Badger Basketball team was recognized with Badger Pride Awards in April’s Board of Education meeting. The 2022-23 team finished with a 20-10 record, their first winning season since 2005. The Lady Badgers finished third place in the 4A-7 Conference and in the Regional Tournament. The team reached the Elite Eight in 4A State Tournament. Congratulations to Coach Jonathan Klein and Lady Badger Basketball!
