The graphic contains the official wording of the tax proposal as it will appear on the ballot. The ballot does mention other millage numbers that are not new to this proposal.
Taxpayers will be asked to vote on the following changes:
- An overall 3.00 mill increase to the current millage rate
- Transfer 2.00 current maintenance and operation mills to debt service mills
- This will result in 5.00 new debt service mills, but only 3.00 of these mills will be new mills levied in the tax rate
If you have any questions or comments, email millage@arkadelphiaschools.org
Early voting begins on Wednesday, November 12th, at the Arkadelphia Rec Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thank you
