This Friday evening, the Senior High Badger Football team travels to Genoa Central near Texarkana.
Due to very limited seating at their stadium, especially on the visitors' side, fans are highly encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Badger fans will be able to set up chairs on the berm, near the scoreboard, or along the visitor bleachers.
In order to ensure plenty of seating for parents, grandparents, and other Badger fans, the band will not be traveling to Genoa Central on Friday night. Due to lost rehearsal time this week, they will stay in Arkadelphia and have practice for their upcoming 4A State Marching Band Championship scheduled for Monday.
We appreciate our fan base and want you to have the best possible experience under the circumstances. Thank you for your continued support. Go Badgers!

At AHS, Magen Atkinson’s Algebra II students have been working on quadratic application activities. Last week, they identified key features of a quadratic graph. Students had to describe and interpret how a quadratic equation represents the path of a football in motion. They used some footage provided by Coach Schucker of Senior Kicker Seth Molinari. What a great way to put math into motion! Mrs. Atkinson's students are truly kicking their learning up a notch! #BadgerPride

The Arkadelphia Public School District Board of Education voted unanimously in August to approve a resolution seeking the public’s support for a 3.0 millage increase. With voter approval, funds would be available to replace the 52-year old high school and construct a new high school facility for grades 9-12, including a safe room, career education center, fine arts auditorium, and extracurricular areas that benefit district-wide programs.
We will host two community meetings in the AHS Little Theater on Monday, November 3rd, at 12:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
